7 Deadly Sins File Folder Game

This game is free, however it is only to be used for classroom and personal use. It may not be published on any websites or other electronic media, or distributed in newsletters, bulletins, or any other form or sold for profit.

7 Deadly Sins File Folder Game: Identify which of the 7 Deadly Sins is depicted in the situation. The player who collects the most tokens, wins.

Set a timer for a specified time. Put the Game Cards in the blank space near the top of the game board. Place your marker any where on the game board. Each player in turn spins the spinner and moves their marker along the board. They may go forward or backwards or follow any branch of the board they wish, as long as they only go one direction within a turn. This means that you can go forward or backward, but only forward or only backward in a single turn. When a player lands on a space that has a SE7EN on it, the person on their right picks up a Game Card and reads it out loud (if they cannot read it, someone else can read it for them). On each card is a situation that the player must identify which of the 7 Deadly Sins it is about. If the player answers correctly, they receive a token (use the tokens provided or you can use poker chips, milk caps, etc.). If they are not correct, they do not receive a token. If the player spins “Return 1 Token”, they must return one token. If a player spins “Take 1 Token” they may take a token from any player they choose. Players must collect as many tokens as they can as they move around the board. Note that the board is set up so you can move around it many times. The game is over when the timer goes off. Whoever has the most tokens, wins. Players can also play in teams so they can help each other answer the questions.
