Time to Catch Up..........

Wow..it's been as always a busy few weeks. My last post was right before we left for vacation..so let's get caught up!

We had a great time in the Lake of the Ozarks. Didn't think I would like it as much as going to the beach(love the beach!) it was different but still equally fun!!! I liked the condo we stayed in and that it had 2 pools with one on the "point" so you were right on the Lake to watch all the cool yes...very cool boats go by. So here's some pics..

a view from our room..and the pool we hung out at is on the top right where the trees are..

So we went out fishing and Connor caught his first fish and a good sized one too..a 19 inch Bass! Talk about one excited kid!

Had lots of fun hanging out with Tammy and Mark and their crew. The adults went to dinner since Tam and Mark had a sitter come along and of all places we ate... it was called Peckers!LOL So..of course we had to take a pic with the dude! Yes..I was being silly!!!

and some cute couple pics..

Scott and I look a little devilish with the red background behind us don't we? Okay..Blogger won't allow more pics on my post..so I'll submit this for now..check back for more updates on the trip and for my scrappin friends..updates from CHA!

Talk to you soon...the now new 37 year old!

Playing with medal

As well as knitting with wire I am now into making medal charms for my bracelets. These take a while to make. Cutting up cans then grinding, fileing and sanding and my fav hammering. I bought myself an anvil this weekend and I have been hammering away, Really gets some fustration out. But the end results are well worth it and each set seems to have a story to tell.

I also got a table grinder this weekend but that is gonna take some practice. I believe my dremil is probally a better choice for these than the grinder. However the grinder does make really cool knitting needles. '

Has it been a month?

I believe I missed the whole month of June. Been busy. School is out and the grandkids keep me busy. I have been doing a lot of knitting with my wire and keep finding the best beads. Michaels has a whole new line of beads and I found a new little bead shop not to far from where I live.

I am also working almost daily in my paint shop program. Learning animations, making backgrounds and learning how to make picture tubes.

It is a rainy day in N C , I have the grandkids and we are all stuck in the house. We are gonna watch a movie in a few so will try and be back later.

Finally relax time. I am working on another bracelet. Even worked on a castle today with one of my grandson's. looks pretty good.

Well that is it for today. Just to tired to type much more. Besides hubby and I are watching Supernatural. Love that show.

Projects Continued

Okay for some reason Parker's didn't load and Blogger won't let me edit the original post with it! So here it is..

New ScrapJazz Projects

So..thought you'd like to see what all I have been up to besides saying I'm busy. Which I am. But here's some of the projects I have made that I can show you. The others..top secret..not available for viewing yet until Paper Salon gives the thumbs up!

First one..layout for ScrapJazz's "Faith/Values" theme and uses what else..some cool Bo Bunny stuff! It's a good one with journaling about Connor and is never ending issues with perfection that he puts upon himself and upsets himself. He just needs to believe in himself like we do!

Some for ScrapJazz using the Around The Block fun products...

and for some fun, cool projects using the PageFrames products. I decided to make each of the kids something for their bedroom doors. Each different and reflecting them and I think I love these more than the last ones I did. The kids definitely did!

Con's..used Basic Grey papers and dry erase marker to let him write things and then change them. Cool huh?

Haley's..my personal favorite well..one of them!HA Bo Bunny papers and me and my flowers!

And Parker's..fitting him perfectly as he loves loves pirates and had his getup on the other day and I caught these pics of him!

Don't you agree! It's perfect right!

That's it for today,

Julia
