Dear Summer Diary,
Today I left the girls blank postcards to decorate & mail to their great grandmother. They are actually scraps of matte board that my friend gave me, who owns a photo/frame shop. I'm sure if you visited your nearest framing shop, they'd be happy to give you their scraps. In fact, a long time ago I remember buying them for a small fee from the frameshop in a Michael's craft store. The matte board is heavier than a regular postcard, so it'll take more postage.
Maybe the postcards will arrive before I even leave. Wouldn't it be fun to get a photo of G.G. (great grandmother) holding the girls' postcards?
