Irish eyes were smiling.

"Is Feidir Linn"! I see you O. You done went over to Ireland and got new. I hope you not forgetting the black side of your family, Negro. We tend to get a little jealous when it comes to these things.

Still, I can't say that I blame you if you were feeling like you wished you lived in Dublin instead of D.C. Those lads were really feeling you. For a moment there I thought that Shamrock Rovers had won the UEFA Champions League.

So you down some Guinness in a pub in (half of) your ancestors hometown, (Why didn't you have a bottle of Tusker when you were in Kenya Mr. President?)you give a stirring speech to thousands of screaming Irish men and women, and you feel like an international rock star. All you were missing were the Bono shades.

Meanwhile, here in A-merry-ca, one of your opponents in the upcoming presidential race was announcing his run to be president of these divided states.

"It's time for new leadership. It's time for a new approach. And, it's time for America's president -- and anyone who wants to be president -- to look you in the eye and tell you the truth... Someone has to say it. Someone has to finally stand up and level with the American people. Someone has to lead. I will."

Yawn.....
