Spring Easter Egg Basket

Hi all!

Here's the second of the spring crafts shown yesterday on Show Me St. Louis!

This one I really liked and the eggs, although messy, turned out really cute!

Some ideas to note...I used stryofoam eggs I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I know they sell paper mache eggs however they cost more...so I went with the lesser expensive option.

The basket is from Hobby Lobby too. It had a design on the front which I didn't care for however the colors were perfect for this! Any basket or container will look great!

Spring Easter Egg Basket
Supplies:

Sassfras Las Papers
Doodlebug Glitter Paper
Crafty Secrets Bunny Diecut & Easter Stickers
Bo Bunny Flowers
Prima Flowers
Pateloo Flowers
Making Memories Flutter Papers & Ribbon Trims
Making Memories Great Escape Papers & Fabric Brad
Fiskars Border Punches
Plaid Mod Podge
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro Adhesive
Wired Ribbon

1) Cut papers to fit basket. Add glitter paper and Crafty Secrets Easter diecut. Ink edges of paper and basket. Embellish basket with flowers, buttons and ribbons.

2) For the eggs...tear up small pieces of paper. I chose different papers for top and bottom. Add a light coat of Mod Podge to egg and backside of papers. Smooth papers onto eggs. It's fine if you have folds and creases...overlap papers. Add any Easter stickers and apply another light layer of Mod Podge.

3) Once the egg is dry add ribbons, buttons, flowers and have fun decorating!! Great kids craft too!

Tune in tomorrow for more crafts as seen on Show Me St.Louis!!
