Sixth Commandment Activities




Sixth Commandment: You Shall Not Commit Adultery (Catholic)


Have I been faithful to my marriage vows in thought and action?
Do I respect my own body?
Have I had impure (dirty) thoughts?
Do I seek to be chaste in my thoughts, words and actions?
Have I failed to dress or act modestly?
Have I respected all members of the opposite sex, or have I thought of other people as objects?
Have I engaged in any sexual activity outside of marriage?
Have I committed premarital sex?
Have I viewed pornography? Have I read indecent literature or looked at indecent pictures?
Have I listened to indecent music or danced in an indecent manner?
Have I watched suggestive films or programs?
Have I used indecent language or told indecent stories?
Have I willingly listened to such stories?

Are You Ready To Clean Up Your Act?- We're kidding ourselves, and we know it. And yet we carry on – thinking we are following all the commandments and meanwhile making up our own rules. Why is it so hard for people to follow the 6th commandment: Thou shall not commit adultery (Catholic)? It is harder than you think or is it? In this game players must answer correctly questions about the 6th commandment or they are sent to the bathtub to clean up their act.
