Welcome to the Love {Shack} Hop

For those that haven't peeked into my blog... I just a week ago lost my Dad. Sadly...he was not ill, this wasn't anticipated...but the result of a sudden stroke that took his life. And much too young I have to add. Life lately has just been a bit overwhelming and sad. But we can't help but be reminded in these times about family, friends and love.

Kind of fitting with Love Shack. Love is what makes the world go round. Love is so quintessential to all of us...





Today's blog post isn't about me...or what I've been busy working on...because honestly I haven't.

Today I want to send a BIG thank you to the sweetest people ever...my friends at the Pursuit of Craftyness for the absolutely beautiful flowers I received. They're so beautiful and I was so suprised to receive them. It meant so very much to me. Thanks gals for being so thoughtful!! I'm so very lucky to have you all as friends.


Also a special thanks to For Keeps Sake. This past weekend was the Scrap St.Louis event. I was sponsored by Bo Bunny and Imaginisce and created make n takes for the attendees. Sadly I was only able to attend Friday. I had so many plans to talk more with everyone, listen to Stacy Julian's speech, thank her again for the opportunity to be on TV for her, get to talk a bit more with Teresa Collins, Cheryl Mezzetti, Joey Otlo and many others. But I didn't get back to the event.

So thanks Timi, Nancy and the rest of the For Keeps Sake gals for taking care of the make n takes and also for the beautiful plant! That was so very thoughtful...and appreciated. It will be with me for a long time and serve as a reminder of my Dad.




In keeping with the bunny hop and that I love to hear from you... I do have a little bit of something up for grabs. (and quite fitting for the topic!)
