November's Crafty Night was so much fun!! Only a small gathering RSVP'd. Seems it was a busy night for a lot of folk. So I decided to do something really special for the few crafty guests in attendance. I pulled out all my vintage buttons & ring making supplies--- & we made vintage button rings!!! I am pretty sure everyone had a most excellent time! We even made the paper ring boxes I use for my customers at WhiMSy love.
My friend Ryna made up some gourmet hot cocoa from a recipe by Barefoot Contessa. It was super delicious. So, with the rich & deluxe chocolate overload & the glue fumes, we were all having a great time!
I'm not gonna say whether anyone started hopping around in a sheep costume by the end of the night.
I'm really excited about the future of Crafty Night. Starting in January, we'll be relocating to my friends' beautiful photo studio on Main Street. I want to kick things off with a bang---door prizes, goodie bags for all my guests. I want Crafty Night to be an experience. And I am certain it will be JUST that. Our new surroundings will inspire, without a doubt. Can't wait to show you pictures!!
I'm working hard on banners & a Crafty Night sign & coming up with snacks & drinks & awesome crafts each month. I'm working on creating an ad & postcards & I can't wait to reveal it all!
Crafty Night is a non-profit gig. I do this, because I love creating & I want to share that with people.
If you would like to help a crafty girl out, by donating a handmade prize or goodies for the guests for our January Crafty Night, please email me at: whimsy-girl [at] hotmail [dot] com
Thanks!
