On Sunday I started collecting photos for my Full Moon Dreamboard.
On Monday night Justin and I cooked brussels sprouts for the first time. I still remember the first time I tried them. It was at a friend's house. I popped one in my mouth and was horrified at the flavour but there was nothing I could do without being rude. Ack! Funnily, we did them very simply, steamed with stock, and they were surprisingly delicious.
Now this is commitment. We travelled another couple of hours north of the city, to the very edge of our public transit to get counter samples. As we crossed this street to the store, I noticed you could see Canada's Wonderland in the distance!
But look at these yummy colours and textures. It was so worth it!
On the way back, the driver stopped for coffee and left Justin and I alone on the bus at Highway 7!
Luckily we made it back into town quickly enough that I was able to get together for lunch with my family. Our brother was in town for a very brief window of time, so I was thrilled to be able to hook up and catch up.
On Thursday night I went through a process to really deepen my experience of the Dreamboard. I'll be sharing more about that later.
I'm developing Visioning Sessions for clients who have a business or a project that they really want to get clear on. On Friday I had the most amazing time taking myself through the process. It was such a joy to be in a space, creatively playing with ideas. The results were incredibly useful and I'm still processing all the information that I gleaned.
What a great week!
Project 365 is my attempt to capture a year in my life through a photograph a day. On Saturday's I'll post the week's pics. At the end of the year, I'll create a video of all these precious moments. Feel free to participate at any time. Yours can be Project 347 or Project 292. It's up to you. See the results of my Project 365 ~ 2008 here.
