WOW. Absolutely gorgeous decor was seen throughout the five homes. Everyone did such a beautiful job! The proceeds from the event all go for the purchase of medical equipment for the Carrington Health Center. Here are pictures from the first and newest home, built in 1993...
The textured (glazed) walls in this formal dining and living room had the feel of Tuscany...
This darling tree with zebra print and accents was all lit up at the end of the bed in their daughters room...
Their hunting son had this enormous wreath on an easel in one corner of his room...very cool...
The master bath...simply beautiful!
The ice skates/snowflake themed tree off the balcony of the master bedroom looked like a winter escape...
Leopard print, golds and reds adorned the family room... Even the deer heads were decked out!
Notice the leopard print garland...
The next home had a wonderful snowy welcome...
Here's the foyer of the home...This small tree in the dining room was adorable...
Lots of red accents in the living room and the quilts throughout the home gave it a cozy feel... Can you say ADORABLE (again!)? Here's a small tree in one of the bathrooms...LOVE the colors!Next up was an A-frame home. This young, newly married couple haven't lived here long but you sure couldn't tell. The history of the home indicated it used to have cedar shingles and wallpaper on the majority of the walls...yes, I said shingles! Here's a picture looking down from the balcony into the living room...very nice!
All the decor was very festive!
Of course I loved the shabby looking dresser in the living room! (Looks like one in my house!)
The next home was a craftsman style built between 1907 and 1911. Not a big house, but what we saw was very nicely updated and decorated...the dishes were gorgeous.
I didn't get very good pictures of the last two homes as my flash was acting up. I was really in awe of the gorgeous woodwork in this last home (built sometime after 1899). There were at least 3 sets of raised panel pocket doors between the living, dining and parlor rooms that were just outstanding. Even original light fixtures in some of the rooms. Lovely! The owner loves blue, and it was abundant throughout the home.
