A month or so ago, I got around to making a belt from a tutorial I'd downloaded from Susan's blog (and it's a pretty terrific blog, by the way, even if she does have advertisements on it). I had no trouble whatsoever making my belt by following her clear, concise, friendly directions and her helpful pictures.
I foresee many wonderful belts in my future (especially since I'm finally getting a waist for the first time in many years, but that is another topic). I told both of my DILs that I'd learned this skill and both were interested in receiving a belt. Amy likes green of all kinds, especially this green, and her belt is waiting for her to pick it up -- this very night!
And do you see that darling bag? With a zipper? Made from William Morris fabrics? Don't get too attached to it. It's mine. A PIF gift from my friend Pat. Who used a charm pack to make it and actually put the unused charms in the bag before giving it to me! Is she the best, or what?
